With Leap Year including an added day to your calendar, take a giant leap for amphibians by joining FrogWatch USA, the flagship citizen science system of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. FrogWatch USA permits people and families to learn about the wetlands in their communities and support conserve amphibians by reporting the calls of neighborhood frogs and toads.
It is estimated that at least a single-3rd of recognized amphibian species are threatened with extinction. Volunteers of FrogWatch USA can help researchers recognize which frogs and toads may possibly be more and more widespread or in decline all through the United States.
